   There are many things to do and see here, Coimbra our nearest city is 20 minutes drive in which you can find  everything clothes shops, restaurants the football stadium, cinema, and a very good hospital. 

As for things to do the local river at louredo seems to be a good attraction for keen fishermen, horse-riding in the local areas, sightseeing, plenty of old cars in scrap yards if that's your thing occasionally form the 70's or before, canoeing again at the local rivers which are plentiful.
